Our engineers are experts when it comes to holding, supporting and locating a workpiece so that you can achieve the repeatability and accuracy needed for an efficient and cost-effective manufacturing process that results in high quality components. In fact, many of our jigs and fixtures incorporate the Six-Sigma strategy of poka yoke (mistake proofing), an important requirement for ensuring that it is not possible to produce incorrect parts. Ease of assembly, maintenance, interchangeability and end-user ergonomics are all taken into consideration by Tooling Tech when designing a simple jig or more complex fixtures including holding/nesting fixtures for secondary operations such as machining, drilling, trimming, painting, gate cutting, punching, welding and assembly.

This is a battery pack arc welding jig that used in two models. It will be used to fix the battery pack bottom plate and each side beam to become a weldable assembly part.
